2008:
Manas Petroleum Corporation by its wholly owned subsidiary DWM Petroleum AG signed a contract for the acquisition of 400 kilometers 2D seismic with GII. This seismic program is a combination of Vibroseis and dynamite sources.

2007:
The GII, Seismology Division, won an award for conducting Infrasound Calibration Experiment including a large-scale surface chemical explosion of several dozens tons. The 3-year project is sponsored by the USA Department of Defense (US Army Space and Missile Defense Command).
The main goal of the project is to provide observations of explosion acoustic waves at distances more than 1000 km, for calibration of infrasound stations of International Monitoring System, thus improving monitoring of possible nuclear tests in the Middle East region.
